1970s or 1980s Patrick Moore piece on the “Robert Arlington Riddle”. This copy comes from a U-Matic cartridge recording. I remember this as being a tad unintelligible to say the least, although it has always fascinated me for a few reasons, namely: 1) I can find no trace of Robert Arlington or “Exeter 8” or pretty much anything else referenced here anywhere on the internet; and 2) A lot of what is said in the video bears more than a passing resemblance to writings on some aspects of quantum mechanics. If anyone has any further information on this research programme (apparently for the OU) please get in touch. I’d be fascinated to hear from anyone who remembers seeing this televised in either the late 70s or early 80s. Excuse the quality (had to record off my TV… couldn’t get a converter)
