I have a lease option on a property in Las Vegas I think the owner is in default how can I check this out?

I have the account number for the property but the bank wont give me any information.

    1. Ask the owner to provide proof of payment on the mortgage. Since you have a vested interest in the property, you have the right to know that he is making his payments. I would consult a local real estate attorney, and show him your lease-option agreement.
